Dr. Thomas Currie is a Board-Certified endodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He earned his Endodontic Certificate, Master of Science in Dental Sciences, and DMD degrees at the University of Florida. Additional degrees include a Master of Science in Medical Sciences and Bachelor of Science in Psychology, also from the University of Florida.
During his endodontic residency, Dr. Currie presented his research at the American Association of Endodontists annual sessions in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Washington, DC. In 2014, he was presented with The Top Ten Research Oral Presentation Award by Dentsply. Professional organization affiliation includes membership in the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, Jacksonville Dental Society, and the Northeast Dental District Association. In addition, he has gained experience in providing endodontic therapy for adults with developmental disabilities and the underserved population through state programs established by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities and the Florida Department of Health. He also donates his time back to the University of Florida and is an adjunct clinical instructor in the post-doctoral endodontic clinic.
In his free time, Dr. Currie enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His other hobbies include watching the Florida Gators, boating, and fishing.
